Powerball jackpot reaches $930 million

The Powerball jackpot has reached an estimated $930 million following Monday night’s drawing, which did not yield a grand prize winner. The numbers drawn were 8, 32, 52, 56, 64, and the Powerball was 23. The cash value of the jackpot is estimated at $429 million, according to the lottery’s announcements.

This current jackpot run has extended to 40 draws without a winner, with the last jackpot being claimed on September 6, 2025, when two tickets sold in Missouri and Texas shared a prize of $1.787 billion. Powerball draws take place three times a week—on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays.

Players have the option to choose between an annuitized prize or a lump sum payment, both of which are subject to taxes. The annuity option provides an initial payment followed by 29 annual payments that increase by 5% each year.

In this ongoing jackpot run, there have been 50 Match 5 winners, each receiving $1 million, and eight Match 5 + Power Play winners, who took home $2 million each. The most recent Saturday drawing generated four prizes of at least $1 million, with winners located in Florida, Georgia, Texas, and New Jersey.

The odds of winning any Powerball prize stand at 1 in 24.9, while the odds of winning the jackpot are significantly lower, at 1 in 292.2 million. This high level of difficulty underscores the nature of lottery games and the substantial prizes they often offer.
