Ukraine Near Using "Strike Drones" Against Russia

Recent weeks have seen increased tension between Ukraine and Russia, as Ukraine has sought to defend itself against Russian aggression. Ukraine has purchased 1,400 UAVs, mostly for surveillance and intelligence gathering, but the country is close to developing attacking drones that can fly suicide missions and hit targets. In his annual speech to parliament, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy urged the European Union to open membership talks with his country. France has also stepped in to provide air defense equipment, weapons, and training to Ukraine. To protect its people, the Ukrainian government is offering residents of Kherson free transportation out of the city and humanitarian assistance.
