President Donald Trump addressed speculation regarding his health following a period of reduced public appearances. Trump responded emphatically on social media, stating, “NEVER FELT BETTER IN MY LIFE,” while commenting on perceived double standards in media coverage compared to former President Joe Biden.
Concerns about Trump's health have emerged due to visible signs such as swollen ankles and bruises on his hands, which he has reportedly covered with makeup. The White House attributed these symptoms to chronic venous insufficiency, a condition that affects blood flow from the legs back to the heart, resulting in swelling. They noted that the bruises are likely caused by frequent handshaking and the use of aspirin.
Vice President JD Vance expressed confidence in Trump’s health, describing him as being in “incredibly good health” and possessing “incredible energy.” He also indicated his readiness to assume presidential duties should anything happen to Trump.
Trump’s last public engagement was a Cabinet meeting held on Tuesday, where officials praised his leadership. Although his public appearances have been limited, he has remained active on social media and was seen briefly over the weekend while golfing. Additionally, he participated in an interview that was published online.
