General Mills is recalling more than 735,000 frozen Pillsbury bread rolls because some products may contain glass, according to a report issued through the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

The recall covers selected Pillsbury Hard Roll Dough and Kaiser Roll Dough products. On July 13, the FDA designated the action as a Class II recall, a category used when exposure to a product may cause temporary or medically reversible health effects. The report did not describe any reported injuries or illnesses.

The affected Hard Roll Dough inventory includes 3,080 cases, with 180 rolls in each case. Products carry “Better if Used By” dates of October 12 or October 13, 2026, and lot numbers 11JUN6JL or 12JUN6JL.

The Kaiser Roll Dough recall covers 1,260 cases containing 144 rolls each. Those products have a “Better if Used By” date of October 13, 2026, and lot number 12JUN6JL.

Together, the recalled cases represent approximately 735,840 rolls. Distribution extended across 19 states: Arkansas, California, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Louisiana, Maine, Missouri, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington and Wyoming.

The recall is among several recent consumer safety actions involving food and household products. Separately, the FDA recently raised the risk classification for a recall of certain Utz Quality Foods potato chips because of possible salmonella contamination. Other recalls cited in recent reports have involved vehicles, grills and grill brushes.

The distribution list included states in the South, Northeast, Midwest and West, indicating that the recall spans multiple regions nationwide.

General Mills had not provided a public response at the time of the original report. Consumers who may have purchased the identified Pillsbury products should check the product name, date and lot number against the recall information and follow instructions from retailers or federal regulators regarding returns or disposal.
