The Weeknd has announced a significant North American stadium tour following the release of his new album, "Hurry Up Tomorrow." This tour, titled “After Hours 'Til Dawn,” is set to begin on May 9 in Phoenix and will conclude on September 3 in San Antonio. The tour marks a notable achievement for the contemporary solo artist, reflecting his sustained popularity in the music industry.
The itinerary includes stops in major cities such as Detroit, Chicago, New York, and Los Angeles, among others, as well as venues in Canada. Atlanta rapper Playboi Carti and producer Mike Dean will join The Weeknd on the tour, which is expected to draw large audiences.
Ticket sales will commence with an artist presale starting February 5 at 10 a.m. local time, followed by a general sale on February 7 at the same time. Fans can purchase tickets through The Weeknd's official website.
"Hurry Up Tomorrow" serves as the concluding installment of The Weeknd's trilogy, which began with "After Hours" in 2020 and continued with "Dawn FM" in 2022. The album includes collaborations with various artists, such as Future, Anitta, and Lana Del Rey. The creative process for this album was partially inspired by a performance at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, in 2022, during which The Weeknd experienced vocal issues that he described as a pivotal moment in his career.
