Security guard shot outside Drake's Toronto mansion

Police are currently investigating a shooting that took place outside rapper Drake's home in Toronto. The incident occurred early Tuesday morning, with a security guard sustaining a gunshot wound while standing at the front gates of the mansion. The victim was taken to the hospital with serious injuries and is currently receiving medical treatment.

At this time, there is no evidence to suggest that Drake himself was hurt or directly involved in the shooting. Toronto Police Inspector Paul Krawczyk stated that it is too early to speculate on a motive for the incident, but did confirm that a vehicle fled the scene after the shot was fired.

While initial reports suggested that the ongoing investigation is centered at Drake's home, there is no confirmation on whether the rapper was present at the time of the shooting. Drake's team is said to be cooperating with authorities, although a representative for the rapper has not yet provided a comment on the matter.

This news comes amidst a rap feud between Drake and Kendrick Lamar, with Lamar recently releasing a diss track accusing Drake of pedophilia. Drake responded with a song denying the allegations, stating that he is too famous to engage in such behavior.
