Mike Tyson and Jake Paul fight rescheduled to Nov. 15

The highly anticipated fight between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul has been rescheduled for November 15 after Tyson fell ill on a flight last month. Originally set for July 20 in Arlington, Texas, the fight will now take place at AT&T Stadium and will be aired on Netflix.

Tyson, who turns 58 on June 30, became ill during a flight from Miami to Los Angeles, with his camp attributing the episode to an ulcer problem. Despite the setback, Tyson expressed gratitude to the medical staff and event organizers for working to reschedule the fight.

The rescheduled date was chosen to ensure both fighters have ample time for training and preparation, with the fight now set for a Friday to accommodate the Dallas Cowboys' Monday Night Football game against the Houston Texans on November 18.

Tyson, who last fought professionally in 2005, has been training regularly for several years and showcased his skills in an exhibition match against Roy Jones Jr. in November 2020. Despite his age, Tyson remains confident in his abilities, stating that the result of the fight will be the same regardless of the date.

The fight between Tyson and Paul has generated significant interest among fans and media alike, with many eagerly anticipating the outcome. With both fighters now focused on training and preparing for the rescheduled date, the stage is set for an exciting and highly anticipated showdown between two formidable opponents.
