Jeremy Renner celebrates birthday in ICU with medical team

On Friday, actor Jeremy Renner shared his appreciation for the medical staff at the intensive care unit of the hospital he is currently recovering in after suffering serious injuries in a snowplow accident on New Year's Day. In addition to his hospital stay, Renner also expressed his gratitude to The Base Chicago, an academic and athletic program, who shared a video of a group of people dancing and holding letter signs that read "J Renner" in honor of Renner's birthday.

Renner underwent surgery on Monday after suffering “blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries.” On Thursday, the actor shared a video of someone gently shampooing his hair while he was in the ICU. The actor is featured in several previous posts by The Base Chicago, including a group photo from June and a photo of him having lunch with the group in April.

Renner appears to be in good spirits despite his injury and has expressed his gratitude to those who have wished him well during his recovery. He was appreciative of the medical staff at the hospital, as well as the thoughtful gesture from The Base Chicago. It is clear that Renner is surrounded by a loving and supportive community during this difficult time.
