According to a recent report from StubHub, Taylor Swift is the most in-demand artist of the summer, with tickets for her 24 "Eras" tour dates selling for an average of $920 apiece. This price is significantly higher than any other artist in the top 10, with the second-place artist, Beyoncé, selling tickets for an average of $322 each for her "Renaissance" world tour. StubHub reports that Swift, Beyoncé, and P!NK are outselling the seven male artists in the top 10 by 50%. The rankings for the top 10 in-demand artists are based on cumulative ticket sales as of May 26 for concerts taking place between Memorial Day and Labor Day. The other artists in the top 10 include Morgan Wallen, Bruce Springsteen, Coldplay, George Strait, Metallica, Ed Sheeran, and The Weeknd. StubHub spokesperson Adam Budelli notes that female artists are dominating total sales this summer. Despite the high prices for Swift's concerts, some of her shows at MetLife Stadium outside New York City are selling for well over $10,000. Overall, the summer concert season is shaping up to be a lucrative one for many artists, with high demand and ticket prices for many top performers.
