Elon Musk reports staying in the Lincoln Bedroom at Trump's invitation

Elon Musk has revealed that he has a close relationship with President Donald Trump, to the extent that Trump has invited him to stay in the Lincoln Bedroom at the White House. In a recent conversation with reporters, Musk recounted instances of traveling with Trump on Air Force One or Marine One, where Trump has offered him the opportunity to stay overnight in the historic room. Musk clarified that he did not request this invitation, but accepted it when extended.

Musk, who has been described by Trump as his "first buddy," has been actively involved in supporting Trump’s political endeavors, contributing over $290 million to the 2024 election campaign, primarily aimed at aiding Trump’s bid to regain the presidency. During the same discussion, Musk discussed his decision to reduce his time in Washington, D.C., to focus more on Tesla, his electric vehicle company.

In addition to the invitation to the Lincoln Bedroom, Musk noted that he has enjoyed ice cream from the White House kitchen at Trump’s invitation. The Lincoln Bedroom, which features a bed purchased by Mary Todd Lincoln, has historical significance and has previously been a site of controversy, especially during the Clinton administration when it was reported that major donors were granted access to stay there.
