Elon Musk and Grimes resolved custody dispute in Texas

The custody battle between billionaire Elon Musk and musician Grimes over their three children has come to an end, according to the Travis County clerk's office in Texas. Musk had filed suit against Grimes last year in Texas, while Grimes countersued in San Francisco.

Details of the final order issued by a judge in August are not publicly available, as the case was sealed to the public in December. The status of the case is listed as "closed," but no further information was provided by the clerk's office.

The former couple's children, 4-year-old X Æ A-12 (baby X), 2-year-old Exa, and 2-year-old Tau, were at the center of the custody dispute. Musk and Grimes met at least once in court in Texas over the summer, and their legal representation met at least one more time before the case was resolved.

Grimes stated on social media that she has custody of the children every other week, but representatives for both Musk and Grimes have not commented on the resolution of the case.

The legal battle between Musk and Grimes had been ongoing since September 2023 when Musk filed for custody. Grimes later filed a countersuit against Musk in San Francisco, but information about that case is restricted.
