Cassie speaks out about video of Diddy attacking her

Singer-songwriter Cassie Ventura has broken her silence following the release of a disturbing hotel surveillance video that showed Sean “Diddy” Combs violently assaulting her in 2016. Ventura released a statement on Instagram, thanking those who have supported her and acknowledging the impact of domestic violence on her life. She urged the public to believe victims and offered her support to those still living in fear.

The surveillance video, which corroborated Ventura's claims in a lawsuit against Combs, showed him physically assaulting her in a hotel hallway. Combs settled the lawsuit one day after it was filed in November. His attorney denied the allegations, but Combs has faced multiple lawsuits from other accusers alleging similar behavior.

Ventura's husband, Alex Fine, condemned the violence in a statement on Instagram, calling on men to stand against violence towards women. Combs later posted a video on Instagram, apologizing for his actions in the surveillance footage.
