Beyoncé's flying car experiences malfunction during concert performance

Recording artist Beyoncé experienced a prop malfunction during her recent concert in Houston, which has since garnered attention on social media. The incident took place while she was performing her song "16 Candles," during which she typically appears in a red convertible that floats over the audience. Over the weekend, the vehicle tilted unexpectedly, prompting Beyoncé to halt the music and instruct the crew to stop the performance.

"Stop. Stop, stop, stop, stop, stop," she was heard saying into her microphone as the car began to descend toward the stage. Once safely back on solid ground, she reassured the audience by stating, "If ever I fall, I know y’all would catch me."

Beyoncé later shared images from the concert on her social media platforms, including a photo capturing the moment of the mishap. In her post, she conveyed her appreciation for the crowd, writing, "I love you Houston."

Parkwood Entertainment, Beyoncé's management company, released a statement addressing the incident, explaining that a technical issue with the flying car prop caused it to tilt mid-air. The statement confirmed that she was safely lowered and that the show resumed without further complications.

This incident follows a previous engagement in which Beyoncé did not perform at a rally for Vice President Kamala Harris, which led to some disappointment among fans. At that event, she chose to speak briefly on social issues rather than deliver a musical performance. In contrast, country artist Willie Nelson entertained the audience during the rally.
