Yelp, a company that publishes crowd sourced reviews on businesses, released a statement to Fox News Digital, accusing Google of anti-competitive behavior and protecting their monopoly. Luther Lowe, Senior Vice President of Public Policy for Yelp, said that the primary victim of Google's actions is the consumer and that the company should be held accountable for their monopolistic tendencies.

Despite a recent decrease in their dominance, Google still accounted for 28.8% of digital advertising in 2022.
